Whoever Holds Firmly to My Sunnah During Corruption

Hadith
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever holds firmly to my Sunnah at a time when my Ummah goes through corruption will receive the reward of one hundred martyrs.”

Ponder This Hadith

The Prophet ﷺ makes adherence to his Sunnah the remedy for corruption in his Ummah. By necessity, corruption begins only when the Ummah moves away from the Sunnah.

So today, who is truly corrupted in religion: those who hold fast to the Sunnah – praying five times daily, fasting in Ramadan, giving Zakat, and performing Hajj – or those who abandon it?
