Hadith
Abu Musa reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, “No one is more patient in enduring insults they hear than Allah. Verily, they ascribe a child to Him, yet He still grants them well-being and continues to provide for them.”
Ponder This Hadith
This refers to the Christians who claim that Jesus (ʿalayhi al-salām) is the son of God. If the claim that God has a son is an insult to the honor of Allah—who has no need of such a thing—then what can be said of one who goes even further and ascribes an equal or partner to Him?
