Hadith
The Prophet ﷺ said: “This Ummah will divide into seventy-three sects, all of them in the Hellfire except one.” He was asked, “Which one is that, O Messenger of Allah?” He replied: “That which I and my companions are upon.”
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: وَإِنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ تَفَرَّقَتْ عَلَى ثِنْتَيْنِ وَسَبْعِينَ مِلَّةً وَتَفْتَرِقُ أُمَّتِي عَلَى ثَلاَثٍ وَسَبْعِينَ مِلَّةً كُلُّهُمْ فِي النَّارِ إِلاَّ مِلَّةً وَاحِدَةً قَالُوا وَمَنْ هِيَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ مَا أَنَا عَلَيْهِ وَأَصْحَابِي

Ponder This Hadith
If the Prophet ﷺ and his Companions – the first Muslims – were with us today, would they even recognize Ismaili beliefs and practices, let alone follow them?
