Documented Farman — Sultan Muhammad Shah (Aga Khan III)
“If the spiritual guide commands that you perform ablution (wuḍūʾ) with wine and pray, then such a command must be obeyed. He knows how bad a thing wine is – yet if such a command is given, it must be obeyed. Which path leads to Paradise is known to the Pīr Murshid.”
مرشد اگر ایسا فرمائے کہ شراب سے وضو کر کے نماز پڑھو تو ایسا فرمان ماننا چاہیے۔ شراب کیسی خراب چیز ہے، یہ وہ جانتا ہے، پھر بھی ایسا فرمان ہو تو ماننا چاہیے۔ بہشت میں جانے کا کونسا راستہ ہے، وہ پیر مرشد کو معلوم ہے۔
Murshid agar aisā farmāʾe ke sharāb se wuẓū kar ke namāz paṛho to aisā farmān mānnā chāhiye. Sharāb kaisī kharāb chīz hai, yeh woh jāntā hai, phir bhī aisā farmān ho to mānnā chāhiye. Behesht mēṅ jānē kā kaunsā rāstā hai, woh pīr murshid ko maʿlūm hai.
